Introduction: The Instructional
Techniques Training/ Train-the-Trainer Course, is designed to provide participants with the
necessary knowledge and skills to become good instructors. It is an
active course built on student participation. This course will touch
the effective oral communication, the systemic approach with the
training, the environment of training, the different training aids
and template, the dynamics of the classroom, preparation and
presentation etc. The successful
graduate will be able to design and conduct classroom, laboratory,
workshop and on-the-job training activities and generate a desire
for continuing improvement and prepare, present and evaluate
instructional materials. The student will show demonstrated ability
during the course that he is informed of the methods, practices and
procedures used in the civil aviation training; that he can locate
and apply the pertinent information and that he can project, under
simulated circumstances, personality traits required of an
instructor.

Pre-requisites : actively participate in a well-defined
aviation occupation and have ease of comprehension of oral and
written English, facility in written expression in English of topics
in the course subject matter and full facility in the use of English
as a medium of oral instruction
