This Standard Cabin Attendant
Manual (CAM) has been developed in compliance with ICAO' Standards,
and contains all the
applicable requirements from the ICAO Annexes as well as recommended
practices from the industry.
It is
designed for an Air Operator or an Aviation Training
Organization wishing to meet the ICAO requirements.
This positive and pre-approved solution saves
you time and money for your operations. This manual is applicable in the 190
ICAO's State Members.
The aim
of the Standard Cabin Attendant Manual is to provide
Cabin Crew Members and other associated Staff Members
with a basic Operation Manual associated with the duties
and responsibilities of Cabin Crews. This manual is
designed to be further customized by an Air Operator
(if/when needed) by adding pages at the end of each
chapters, specifying the State and the Air Operator’s
variation. It can also be easily modified to include
a State's variations. At the end of each chapter is a list of recommended
additional topics which could help an Air Operator customize this manual to
their own operations. A list of recommended content is available in
the yellow pages (operator’s variations) at the end of
each chapter. Cabin Crews must comply with the
requirements from International Civil Aviation
Organization (ICAO) listed in this manual. These
requirements are indicated by the use of the word
“must”. Recommendation (best practices) are indicated
with the word “should”. Note that any additional
requirements listed by the Air Operators in the Air
Operator’s variations pages must also be respected.
Safety & Technical Bulletins (STB) are issued as needed.
These are available to be downloaded from Ariane
Information’s web site. A subscription service is
available, in order to be notified when a new Safety &
Technical Bulletin has been issued. Available in English
(other languages soon). Format: Binder of approximately
250 pages in black & white and color, with tabs and
