AIA015E- Fire Fighting Training
ICAO no. 119Description:
A training program based on the systematic
detection and extinction of any source of fire hazards in the aircrafts, designed for flight &
cabin crews, and based on national and
international regulations. This training is done
at our facilities or on-site, with full basic theoretical
training and
with a practical session with an
aircraft-like simulator when possible; otherwise
a practical session outside. This type of
training is valid for a period of three (3)
years; however it is suggested to do it on an
annual basis. The simulator re-enacts a fire in
a number of confined areas in order to simulate
a
real crisis in an aircraft. During exercises, we protect the
environment by using non-polluting agents such as fire (propane gas), smoke (non-toxic mineral
oil), extinguishing agent (mono ammonium
bicarbonate). Interior/exterior rescue training
with extensive hands-on field exercises,
aircraft pre-fire planning, tactics and rescue
through hands-on experience.
