Process of a Candidates Application via our
Training Academy

The Ariane Information Aviation Training Academy accommodates up to 200 students at one time, from all over the world. There are classrooms, where students learn the various Ariane Information skills to equip them for airline life. Also available on site is a canteen, and various areas for you to sit and relax during your breaks.

Q1. What happens after my application is sent?
A1. Once our Training Academy receives your application form, you will be sent information on your interview. It will be sent back via the same communication method that you sent your application form, i.e. if you emailed your application form then you will receive your interview information back via email. You will then be asked to accept, reschedule or cancel your attendance at the proposed interview date.

Q2. What happens at the interview?
A2. You will be interviewed, asked to fill in various forms and to carry out written and practical tests. Applicants should be dressed business attire and to have all information at hand to complete the forms accurately.

Q3. How will I know if I am successful or unsuccessful at the interview?
A3. If successful you will be sent a starter pack with a visa letter (for international students) and contract. You will then be asked to apply for a No Criminal check with your local police or RCMP for Canadians or the equivalent for International customers. If you are unsuccessful at the interview then you will be sent a letter to inform you that your application has been denied.

Q4. Why do I need to have a No Criminal check?
A4. To ensure you have no extreme criminal history, i.e. murder, rape, armed robbery etc.

Q5. Why do I need a Visa Letter & Contract?
A5. All international applicants must apply for a visa to enable you to work with airlines. To obtain this visa, you will need to book an interview with the Canadian Embassy, in the country you reside in. During this interview you will be asked to produce the letter & contract, supplied by Ariane Information, as proof of your reason for travel.

Q6. What happens if I fail my No Criminal Disclosure check and visa interview?
A6. We are unable to offer you training if you fail your No Criminal check and without a visa.

Q7. What happens after receiving my visa and I pass my criminal background check?
A7. You will now be asked to attend a Medical test at the academy, this will cost you CA$90.

Q8. Why do I need a Medical Test?
A8. This is a standard requirement. All job offers and/or offers of employment are contingent upon meeting certain physical requirements and obtaining a valid health certificate. Medical examinations and the issuance of a health certificate must be performed  by approved doctor. Failure to pass the physical examination will automatically terminate your employment agreement. In addition, you will be required to disclose us in writing any condition, disability, or circumstance, which may prevent you from working full time onboard an aircraft. Failure to make this disclosure may result in forfeiture of benefits and be grounds for termination of employment. 
In addition to a hearing and eye sight test, the following is an abbreviated list of diseases and conditions that may or can result in failing the required medical examination. 

  • Asthma
  • Colour Blindness
  • Eyesight problems
  • Tuberculosis
  • Heart / Cardiac Disease
  • Eczema/contact dermatitis
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy/fits
  • Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
  • Arthritis/rheumatism
  • Hypertension
  • Coronary Disease
  • Arrhythmia (symptomatic)
  • Deafness/hearing difficulties
  • Back Pain / Sciatica
  • Lung Disease
  • Orthopaedic Condition / spine, hips, knees
  • Kidney Disease or Dialysis
  • Mental Illness / Depression

Q9. What happens if I fail my Medical test?
A9. If you fail your Medical test we are unable to continue with your training.

Q10. What happens if I pass my Medical test?
A10. If you pass your Medical test you will continue with your training at the Ariane Information Training Academy. You will also be asked to organize yourself for your airfare fee to come here, and CA$100. for the uniform you will wear in training.

Q11. What other costs are involved?
A11. When joining the training academy you will have your medical, this will cost CA$90. The hotel cost when joining us will be no more then CA$100.night based on 2 persons of the same gender/ room.

Q12. How do I arrive at my accommodation when arriving in Canada?
A12. Please send us your time of arrival and we can send an agent to pick you up and to drive you to your hotel, for CA$75.

Q13. How do I get from the hotel to the Ariane Information Training Academy?
A13. By taxi or bus or please send us your hotel's name and address and we can send an agent to pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the training academy daily, for the duration of training for CA$250.

Q14. When do I arrive at the Academy?
A14. You will arrive in Canada at a date of your choice, and will join the Academy on the date mentioned in your package, usually on Monday. Please do not come to the Academy on weekends as it is closed.

Q15. How long will I be in training before being assigned to an airline?
A15. Your training at the Academy will last up to 4 weeks and a specific training can also be provided by the airline once hired, but this may vary from airline to airline.
