The purpose of the course is to give all personnel with or without
technical relationship to aviation or an aircraft, i.e.
management and/or administrative personnel in airlines
or on the airport. Also persons with interest in the
field of aviation can participate.
Contents:
The course contents is divided into lessons of
technical- and of practical- knowledge sessions. Each
module is independent and concludes the contents. Anyhow
it is recommended to perform the modules in sequence.
This includes, an inside view in history of major
Canadian airlines, of airport, a few easy hours of
aerodynamics and control systems, explanation of all the
nice little buttons, switches and instruments in the
cockpit, refresher of Newton's laws in a different way,
an inside view in an airlines maintenance organization,
practical view of flight operation and dispatching
procedures, a visit of the school in St-Hubert is also
included. Tells you all about Airports in Canada, and
concludes with a visit of the Tower and air traffic
control (ATC) Take off, enroute; approach; landing and
ground handling. A visit of an approved maintenance
organization finalizes the program. Instruction consists
of classroom sessions using power point presentations,
followed by practical related visits.
